The III Astana Economic Forum | |

of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of KazakhstanJSC “Economic Research Institute” “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association founded in June, 2008 by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev united the leading scientific organizations of 9 countries in the Eurasian area. Efforts of scientists of the Association are directed toward solving economic development issues, and also toward assisting the economic and social progress of the world community. With the same objectives the I Astana Economic Forum on theme: “Modern Aspects of Economic Development in Conditions of Globalization”, was held to unite the leading economists, experts, practical workers and scientists of 45 countries of the world. The II Astana Economic Forum on theme: “Economic Security of the Eurasia in the System of Global Risks” was held on March 11-12, 2009 in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Astana city. Over 1200 people from 60 countries of the world and representatives of 29 international organizations took part in the Forum, including world distinguished politicians and economists, such as the Nobel Prize Laureates in Economics Professor Robert Mundell and Professor Edmund Phelps. On the threshold of the Forum Internet-forum and Award for the Best Research in economics were organized to develop recommendations. At the end of the Forum adopted recommendations were sent to the Heads of Secretaries of G-20 member states and to the organizational committee of G-20 State Heads Summit. Prior to this Summit, Forum recommendations were published in the world renowned newspaper “Financial Times”. By the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev who took an active part in the work of the II Forum, the III Astana Economic Forum on theme: “Crisis Lessons and Post-Crisis Model of Economic Development in Globalization Conditions” will be held on 1-2 July, 2010 in Astana. The work of the Forum will be focused on the following subjects: - Models of Post-crisis development of countries - Formation and development of innovative economy - Mechanisms of competitiveness development of countries - Development of public private partnership - Development of investment activity of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Place and role of youth in the process of humanization of the world economy - Islamic financing: tools, advantages and perspectives - Formation of new world financial architecture - Creation of supranational currency as the important factor of financial system stabilization - Development of entrepreneurship in the context of global risks Framework of the III Astana Economic Forum includes the Investment Forum with participation of the world financial institutions where opportunity will be given to present innovation projects, meet with investors, and conclude agreements. During the period of July 1, 2009 until May 1, 2010 with the aim of uniting the efforts of scientists-economists from all over the world for development of post - crisis model of economic development in conditions of globalization Internet-forum will be held at the web-site www.economyclub.info. More Among the leading scientists of the whole world the Award for the Best Research in the field of Economics will be nominated.
